A.I. - Artificial Intelligence

"Neural Network: a system inspired by the brain that learns by analysing data and improves its accuracy over time."

Neural Network

A.I. is transforming the way websites function, offering a range of benefits for both businesses and website visitors. One key advantage is the ability to personalize the user experience. A.I. can analyse user behaviour, recommending content, articles, products, courses or services tailored to their interests. This not only keeps visitors engaged but also increases the likelihood of conversions, whether it's a purchase, signup, or another desired action.

The plugin works by monitoring which parts of your website a visitor looks at. By remembering what they visit it can determine which items are most likely to be relevant to other visitors who look at similar content. It can then use it's neural network to recommend the linked content which has the strongest links to other visitors. It sounds simple and it is very easy to use the plugin, but it is quite complex behind the scenes. The suggested items will improve and become more accurate as more visitors access your site, i.e. it learns and gets smarter.

By examining your visitors behaviour, the URLs they visit, and by not examining the actual page contents, it will work with items in any language, even those which don't contain text and those which get updated periodically.

Related Posts Neural Network will work with text articles, photo galleries, calendar items, course information, product videos etc. without the need to add taxonomies, categories or any manual key words or links.

Features

  • As it works by examing the URLs, the plugin will work with all content types in all languages a user may visit. For example articles, products, pages, blog posts, courses, photo galleries etc.
  • No visitor statistics or data leaves your website. Nothing is processed externally. Everything is done locally using no third party services. The custom written A.I. is built entirely within the plugin.
  • The plugin is written to be efficient so there should not be any noticable affect on the speed of your website.
  • No identifiable information is collected from your visitors, helping it abide by GDPR and privacy rules.
  • As well as suggesting content visitors may also be interested in, and showing the site administrators the links between content, it also shows admins the number of visitor sessions accessing each URL.
  • It is easy to install and set up for pretty much any WordPress site.
  • Works with the Gutenberg Block editor and Classic editor, and should work with any theme.
  • Insert suggestions in your content with a simple WordPress shortcode such as [rpnnrecommend] so it can be put into individual pages or added to theme files.

Inserting Suggested Content

It is very easy to display some recommended links to visitors. All you need to do is insert the shortcode

[rpnnrecommend]
where ever you want it to list some suggested links. By default it will show 3 suggestions with thumbnails of their featured image. You can adjust how it appears by adding parameters like:
[rpnnrecommend total="6" thumbnails="false" class="myclass" title="You might like..."]
which would suggest six items the visitor might be interested in, without featured image thumbnails, and assign the CSS class called "myclass" to it. The "title" parameter lets you assign some title text (h3) before the suggestions to match your site. Examples could be "You might also like..." or "Other products customers looked at...".

You can insert a similar shortcode into template files using the PHP command:

echo do_shortcode("[rpnnrecommend]");

By adding your own CSS class you can control pretty much every aspect of how the suggestions are displayed. There is a built-in additional CSS class you can use to produce a vertical list of recommended links called "recommendedlist".

NOTE: If there aren't the required number of links to show (for example if you have not received enough visitors to build sufficient connections) then it will show as many as it can. If there aren't any links to show at all, e.g. nobody has visited the page and any other pages in the same visit, then the plugin will not display any suggestions or the "title" to prevent empty spaces.
